Four minutes with Dawn French will make your day

She is undoubtedly the funniest woman on television and last night’s rapid-fire interview on Australian TV was no exception.

Dawn French had some tales to tell, covering the much-loved Vicar of Dibley the rumours she paid Jennifer Saunders £100,000 to write the script for the Absolutely Fabulous film, and how she once asked for a crown to celebrate an honour.

Dawn is looking incredibly well (although cheeky as ever) – the 58-year-old recently lost a staggering 50 kilograms following a cancer scare.
