    • I have cruised to these places in September 2013 on the P&O ship “Pacific Pearl” – 15 day cruise. Loved every minute and then did a cruise on Pacific Princess to Pago Pago and Tahiti – fantastic!

    • The ship is Rhapsody of the Seas great ship…it would be a lovely cruise and well worth price…

    • Did it last year – wind and rain for all but the last two days – too cold to go out on deck even!

  2. My husband & I went on a cruise which included lafu, mystery island, Vanuatu, New Caledonia & isle of pine. Had a wonderful time. If you’re considering going please don’t hesitate because you’ll have a memorable time

  3. Another typo! Rhapsody is a Royal Carribean International ship. Their ships are a big cut above P & O.

  4. it looks good on paper but once again, twin-share while the poor bloody single gets the rough end of the pineapple with the single supplement!

  5. I’ve cruised to those ports, but not with Royal Caribbean. If you’re a beach/snorkling person, then it would suit you, as there are no towns/shops on Lifou or Mystery Island. The price (at a guess) is for an inside cabin twin share, so if you want an outside, balcony or suite it would be much more. Although all your meals and entertainment are included on a cruise, you should budget for coffees, drinks (beer $5, wine $6, cocktails $10+, bottle wine $30+), specialty restaurants, photos (start at $20ea), bingo, spa treatments (very expensive), gift shop and shore tours (generally $40-$150pp). You can do as much or as little as you like and there are many seasickness remedies that work (if you need them). Visiting the doctor on board can set you back $150 which you can’t claim any refund on. I love cruising, and I generally cruise solo. It’s a very safe and relaxing holiday for a woman on her own.
