Are you up on the latest teenage slang? Put yourself to the test

If you overheard your granddaughter or grandson talking about “Netflix and chill” would you have a clue what they are talking about? Yup, think so? Um, sorry, but it isn’t quite that obvious, as these baby boomer-grandparents hilariously discovered when put on the spot.

We won’t ruin the video by giving away what they did say, but suffice to say, some of those interviewed were not as up to speed as they thought they were and their answers and comments make for great viewing.

If you don’t know what the phrase means, make sure you have a good think and try and guess before you watch the video.

Teenage language is ever-evolving, and sometimes it seems they come up with obtuse phrases just to confuse the rest of us!
