Andre Rieu has romanced us all with a White Christmas this year with this newly released song and video that will have us all dreaming.

Performed by Andre Rieu, and his Johann Strauss Orchestra, who attract bigger crowds than some of the biggest pop bands, this version of the famous song is bound to get you in the Christmas spirit.

Mr Rieu, who is 66 and is credited with bringing classical and waltz music to the modern world was asked recently how he would explain the waltz to a martian.

He said, “Imagine the most beautiful music in the world filled with joy and sadness, love and melancholy at the same time. A mirror of life – which will make you jump out of your seats and wanting to dance.”

Here is his version of White Christmas, enjoy!

  1. Sorry I can’t stand him or his orchestra. Every facial expression, every movement are the same in every concert.
