Ahoy there Katey (sorry, we couldn’t resist)

Fresh from her first state banquet, at which she was radiant in red, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in royal blue and took the helm of the original Royal research ship Discovery while touring the Scottish city of Dundee.

This is the ship that carried explorers Scott and Shackleton on their first expedition to the Antarctic.

Catherine and William spent a busy day in Dundee, greeting well-wishers and taking the time to chat with a local about motorbikes and how she hopes she can keep Prince George away from them.

It’s unlikely considering one of  Prince William’s life loves is his Ducati motorbike.

“He’s still riding it,” said the Duchess. “It always fills me with horror when he goes out on it‎. I’m terrified. Hopefully, I’m going to keep George off it.”

The pair made their first official visit to Dundee to highlight mental health issues affecting young people, the Daily Mail reports.

They met with young people dealing with mental health challenges, took part in an anti-bullying workshop and held a private meeting with leaders in Scotland’s youth mental health sector.

In keeping with her commitment to British designers, Kate wore a tailor-made blue coat by Scottish designer, Christopher Kane and boots by Russell & Bromley.

Don’t you just love seeing the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in action?
