Malcolm Turnbull’s ‘saucy’ radio interview

Malcolm has shared his sense of humour with Brisbane radio hosts today.

Malcolm Turnbull answered a barrage of questions on radio this morning, and the answers took a surprisingly saucy turn.

Talking to Bianca, Terry and Bob on 97.3FM in Brisbane the Australian Prime Minister revealed he was quite handy, not to mention thrifty, in the kitchen, and loved making passata.

“You know, where you roast a whole tray of tomatoes,” Malcolm Turnbull said. “With some garlic, if you like garlic, and some salt and olive oil and when they’re all roasted, then put them through a mouli and mush them up. You have a beautiful tomato sauce. You can use some, and what we do it we use some and generally freeze some, do it in bulk. Freeze some and you can make a really lovely tasty pasta dish very quickly.”

During the chat he revealed he uses Facetime with his daughter but it was during a series of rapid fire questions he gave answers that, quite frankly, just gave us more questions… He likes to sleep in on his day off, he is on Instagram, he loves being Prime Minister and he once had his heart broken. He also can’t remember the colour of Bill Shortens eyes but he promised to get a good look next time.

Oh, and on the topic of Donald Trump, when asked if he stared as the presidents hair on their recent face to face meeting his answer was clear. “No, lots of eye contact. No hair contact.”
