When you think of luxurious Australian homes, you’re likely to conjure up images of mansion-like Melbourne apartments, or the soaring prices of Sydney terraces. How often do you think of Rockhampton?

This multi-award winning home is about to change that.

25 Bayview Drive in the Rockhampton suburb of Lammermoor has won two awards, including Residential Home Over $900,000 from the Queensland Master Builders Association (QMBA) in Central Queensland.

This architecturally-designed home’s hilltop position (which earned it Best Use of a Sloping Block from QMBA) affords unimpeded views of the ocean that sits just a few hundred metres away.

The three-storey home, set on a 779 square metres, features five bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two-car garage, as well as a pool and a dedicated media room.

The ground floor is split between an enormous teenagers’ retreat (one of the five bedrooms) and a grand foyer entrance with a gorgeous spiral staircase at its heart.

The first floor is given over to the remaining four bedrooms and both bathrooms, with access to the two-car garage from this level.
