In that time Majors started in a TV Movie The Six Million Dollar Man which spawned two more TV Movies as well as starring in the successful law drama Owen Marshall, Counselor at Law. The demand for more Six Million Dollar Man meant that when Counselor at Law ended in 1974, Majors immediately started production on The Six Million Dollar Man television show. Majors would also appear on the spin off series The Bionic Woman during this time. Majors’ then wife Farrah Fawcett was the star of the equally popular Charlie’s Angels which was the first time a husband and wife had the two top rated programs on television.

After the Six Million Dollar Man ran out of battery in 1978, Majors returned to westerns as he was once quoted as saying “In westerns, I’m right at home. When they tell me to ride that horse through that scene one more time, I say “Sure, glad to,” because I remember when I was the one doing all that running”.
