What playground equipment from your childhood would kids love today?

Have you been to a kids playground recently? Everything is made from plastic and covered with soft materials to prevent injuries.

When we were kids we approached the playground with daredevil enthusiasm—ready run, jump and fall off the equipment, some of which, now we look back was downright dangerous. Which was no doubt why so many of us wore casts as a badge of honour!

Now the concrete and blacktop foundations have been replaced with sand or woodchips and metal and wooden structures have been replaced by springy, plastic surfaces.
