Wendy Williams collapses on live TV

TV personality Wendy Williams discusses her daytime talk show at Build Studio on April 17, 2017 in New York City.

TV host Wendy Williams collapsed on live TV on Tuesday, shocking members of the live audience and sending producers into a panic.

Williams, who hosts The Wendy Williams Show, was introducing the segment ‘How You Booin?’ when things started heading south.

“We do it every year,” she began. “It’s always a lot of fun.” Seconds later her eyes widened and she began to shake.

Gasps could be heard from the audience before she fell suddenly to the floor and producers rushed to her aid.

Williams returned after the commercial break to tell viewers she had overheated in her Halloween costume, which caused her to faint.

“That was not a stunt. I overheated in my costume. I did pass out,” she told the audience. “But you know what, I’m a champ and I’m back.”

A rep for Williams told Fox News she was dehydrated but is “ok and will continue the shows as planned”.

The beloved host is preparing for her 1500 show on November 13.

When was the last time you fainted? Do you watch her show?
