Sweden’s Crown Princess gets behind the lens for adorable family photoshoot

It’s a well-known fact that Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, is a keen photographer, regularly snapping pictures of her three young children. 

However, it now seems that there is another royal photographer in town, as it is revealed that Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria also loves to get behind the lens and document the adventures of her young royal brood.

The Swedish royal family released an adorable handful of images taken by the Crown Princess on their official Instagram page, showing Victoria’s husband Prince Daniel enjoying a summer holiday with their children Princess Estelle, six, and Prince Oscar, two.

One photo shows Princess Estelle, who also started school on Tuesday, giggling with her younger brother as she cuddles him in close for a sweet candid shot as he sits on her knee on the Swedish island of Gotland.

Another image shows Prince Daniel, 44, who was a gym owner and personal trainer before marrying into royalty, sharing a sweet moment with his two young children as they pose for a photograph in the forest in Hälsingland, central Sweden.

Daniel is beaming with pride as he keeps a tight hold on the couple’s youngest child, who is happily tucking into a biscuit, while Estelle, who is wearing a fashionable pair of Hunter gumboots, flashes a sweet grin at her mother as she snaps the photo.

The royal family also shared a series of new professional photographs, taken by photographer Anna-Lena Ahlström.

The pictures show Victoria, 41, and Daniel’s young family posing alongside her father King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and mother Queen Silvia, who is perched on a bale of hay with her arm around Princess Estelle.

Fans of the Scandinavian royals were quick to point out the monarch’s bold choice of trousers. as he donned a vibrant pair of turquoise pants for the official shoot, pairing them with a short sleeved button-up striped shirt.

His wife oozed class and elegance in a simple pair of loose-fitting white pants and patterned pink and grey blouse, while the King’s grandchildren matched in cute blue and white outfits, as Prince Oscar stared lovingly at his grandfather.
