Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoy grub at a pub during Belfast tour

The Royals are known for dining in style, but Prince Harry and fiance Meghan Markle took things down a notch, tucking into some pub food on an outing in Belfast, Ireland.

Thousands came out to catch a glimpse of the royal couple, who have been touring Britain ahead of their May wedding. On their arrival, Markle stunned crowds in a green skirt, tan jacket and a pair of red heels. Markle and Prince Harry greeted crowds with enthusiasm, taking photos, shaking hands and chatting with locals.

Markle became particularly animated when she spotted a small baby in the crowd, many were quick to note that she looked to be a natural with kids, something that will no doubt benefit The Duchess of Cambridge when her third child is born in April.

On the Belfast trip, Prince Harry took Markle on a date to the Crown Liquor Saloon to try some classic Irish stew and share a pint. The pair also visited the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn where they celebrated the second birthday of the “Amazing Space” initiative.

The pair enjoyed a bit of history at the Belfast visitor attraction centre and took a trip to the site of the former Maze paramilitary museum.

Markle and Prince Harry first began their grand tour after their engagement announcement at the end of last year. Since then, the pair have been spotted in Cardiff, Nottingham, Edinburgh and Birmingham.

Unfortunately, the couple’s whole itinerary can’t be released for security purposes but the next stop on the tour is said to be Ulster, a small province in the north of the island of Ireland.

The two should soon be wrapping up their tour as the wedding steadily approaches. Only yesterday the first royal wedding invites were sent out.

In a statement, Kensington Palace disclosed that 600 invitations to the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, which will take place at Windsor Castle on May 19, had been posted. The invitations were issued, as per tradition, by the Prince of Wales and feature the Three-Feathered Badge printed in gold ink.
