He may’ve just turned 33, but Prince Harry’s childhood clearly seems like yesterday to his father Prince Charles, as it does to most parents of adult kids.

Birthday wishes poured in for the young royal, who turned 33 on September 15, with the Royal Family wishing him a happy birthday on social media, while Kensington Palace thanked everyone for the lovely messages for the prince.

But Prince Charles was clearly thinking back to Harry’s younger days, posting a snap of the prince as a child, speeding down a ski slope on a sled with his father.

One UK paper, though, was reporting that it would be a very adult birthday for Prince Harry, saying that he planned to use his birthday dinner at the Queen’s estate in Scotland to introduce his girlfriend, 36-year-old American Meghan Markle, to the family, including his grandmother.

The Daily Star tabloid said that Markle hadn’t previously met Queen Elizabeth, but would do so at a barbecue planned for the prince’s birthday. The two have been plagued with engagement rumours for months, with ever-growing speculation that the prince is close to proposing and may choose his birthday to do so.

But other reports said that Markle would not even be in the UK, as she’s currently filming her TV series Suits in Toronto.

The Prince will soon be in the Canadian city, though, for the Invictus Games, which runs from September 22-30 and it’s widely expected that the two will make their first official appearance as a couple at the sporting event for injured servicemen and women.

Do you remember when Prince Harry was born?
