Meghan Markle has been pictured for the last time before her wedding to Prince Harry, as she joined her mum at a luxury hotel to enjoy her final night as an unmarried woman.

The actress turned future royal, 36, looked incredible as she smiled and waved to fans at Berkshire’s plush Cliveden House, just a few miles from Windsor Castle where she will greet the groom in a few hours time.

Wearing a tight-fitting navy knee-length dress, Meghan didn’t let her effortless style slip at all for the relaxed evening, and towered in stiletto heels as she stopped to give a brief greeting to photographers. Asked how she was feeling outside, the bride-to-be reportedly replied: “Wonderful, thank you!”

Meanwhile, her mum Doria Ragland went all out for her daughter’s special night, and looked very glamorous in a knee-length cream dress, a smart black jacket and a matching cream headband.

She didn’t seem phased by the huge media attention, and gave a relaxed wave by her daughter’s side.

The pair enjoyed tea with the Queen just hours before driving to their accommodation, and it’s unclear if Meghan’s bridesmaids will meet them there tomorrow, or if any of her friends will accompany them on the evening too.

While the pair got settled in, Meghan’s fiance Prince Harry spent some time with his best man and brother, Prince William, as they met crowds outside Windsor Castle.

According to the Mail Online, he told one onlooker: “I’m really excited… I can’t wait,” before spotting a little girl in the crowd and asking: “Are you squashed? Have you been waiting here long?”

William was also greeted with as much enthusiasm, after welcoming his third child, Prince Louis, recently. Asked how he’s getting on, he reportedly replied: “I’m not getting much sleep – but I’m sure it will get better.”

Harry is said to be staying with his brother at Coworth Park, on the other side of Windsor.

It comes amid claims Harry’s grandfather Prince Philip will be able to attend the wedding after all. The Duke of Edinburgh recently underwent a hip replacement, but is said to be recovering well.

Meanwhile, Meghan announced just hours ago that Harry’s father Prince Charles would be accompanying her down the aisle, in place of her own father who was unable to make the trip after undergoing heart surgery.

Kensington Palace announced in a statement on Friday that Meghan had personally asked her soon-to-be father-in-law to take on the important role, putting an end to speculation her mother Doria would fill in.

“Ms Meghan Markle has asked His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales to accompany her down the aisle of the Quire of St George’s Chapel on her Wedding Day. The Prince of Wales is pleased to be able to welcome Ms Markle to The Royal Family in this way,” the statement read.

It comes just one day after Meghan confirmed her father Thomas Markle would no longer be able to make his way to England after undergoing medical treatment for a heart condition over the past week.

Tackling the intensely emotional situation head on, Meghan said she hoped her father could be given the space he need to heal.

“Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding. I have always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health,” she said in a statement released by the Palace.

“I would like to thank everyone who has offered generous messages of support. Please know how much Harry and I look forward to sharing our special day with you on Saturday.”
