She is well known for recycling her favourite outfits and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, once again relied on her trusty powder blue suit to get her through a busy day of official appearances on Wednesday.

The 71-year-old wife of Prince Charles slipped into the elegant two-piece as she attended an event to celebrate 150 years of the Commonwealth Society at Lancaster House, in London’s West End, where she met representatives from the 53 member countries.

Camilla looked elegant in the flattering power suit, which featured a knee-length pleated skirt, along with a demure collared jacket. She completed the look with a pair of nude heels with a black toe and one of her trademark pearl necklaces, as she was named the first ever Vice Patron of the organisation.

After attending the event at Lancaster House, Camilla then attended the launch of prestigious British brand Fortnum & Mason’s Christmas & Other Winter Feasts cook book, where she posed alongside a number of UK celebrities, including Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly.

She looked in high spirits as she mingled and chatted with other guests, before sipping on a glass of red wine, balancing her taupe handbag on the crook of her arm.

Camilla made headlines last week when she was noticeably absent from the royal wedding of Princess Eugenie and her now-husband Jack Brooksbank on Friday, when the pair said their vows in front of 850 guests at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

It was confirmed prior to the nuptials that the Duchess of Cornwall would be unable to attend Eugenie’s big day as she would be honouring prior engagements in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, where she met local school children at Crathie Primary School and visited Alford Community Campus.

The Duchess of Rothesay, as she is known in Scotland, also enjoyed a spot of afternoon tea with members of the local community at The Duke of Rothesay Highland Games Pavilion in Braemar, Aberdeenshire, which tells the story of the country’s infamous Highland Games, while the rest of the royal family watched Eugenie say ‘I do’.

What do you think of Camilla’s outfit? Do you like to see members of the royal family recycling their outfits?
