While taking part in a tour of Asia with husband, the US President Donald Trump, Melania’s been able to have a few adventures of her own.
One of those adventures included meeting Gu Gu, the giant panda that live in Beijing Zoo.
The first lady shares some of the adorable images of her visit with Gu Gu on social media, which included feeding him a long stick of bamboo.

While she got to pat his paw, she wasn’t able to get a close encounter, but it’s just as well. Gu Gu has mauled three humans before, when they’ve entered his enclosure. In one case the needed equipment to prize the panda’s jaw open.
Other parts of her adventure Melania has shared include a walk on the Great Wall of China. She strolled along for about half an hour, after riding on a cable car.

While the president headed off to Vietnam to take part in a regional economic and security conference Melania stayed back for these two must-do activities, before heading back the the US. Along her travels home she also stopped at Alaska to greet the troops. It was a surprise visit for Veteran’s Day.
