Pippa Middleton and mum live it up at Wimbledon

The Duchesses little sister has soaked up some Wimbledon sun.

There’s nothing like a little mother-daughter bonding time and Carole and Pippa Middleton have done just that — only a little posher than the rest of us are used to.

The two ladies spend the afternoon together at Wimbledon to watch Andy Murray claim victory over Benoit Paire.

While their royal connections got them close to the front, they didn’t sit in the prestigious box seats reserved for royals and A-listers.

Instead they made themselves happy a few rows back with a group of friends.

While temperatures were only a mild 25C, the entire crowd appeared to be sweltering, with Pippa wearing a cutout mint-green dress to stay cool and mum Carole staying sun smart with a hat and patterned top.

The Middletons are keen tennis fans, with the Duchess of Cambridge attending a match last week.

They are close with a number of players, including Roger Federer, who was a guest at Pippa’s recent wedding.

The entire royal family are also known for their love of the game and often attend Wimbledon throughout the famed grass court tournament.

As is tradition, the Queen and Prince Phillip will watch the Grand Final from the royal box and will likely be joined by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Meanwhile, tournament organisers shared a short video of Spanish hotshot Rafael Nadal smashing his head into the roof moments before walking out on court yesterday.

Nadal was doing a quick warmup when he jumped into the air and hit his head on a beam above.

Thankfully he laughed off the incident, but it may have affected his game slightly as he went down 3 4 6 6 13 to opponent Gilles Muller.
