Kennerley welcomed her husband home recently, after a freak accident left him paralysed.

She wrote on her Instagram account: “John’s home. This is the day I’ve [been] hoping and waiting for since March 6th. Thank you to each and everyone one [sic] of you. Forever thankful.”

In an interview aired on Channel 7’s Sunday Night program, the 63-year-old confessed that her husband’s accident had taken its toll on her.
