I’m still alive: Sheryl Crow named in grave mistake

Sheryl Crow is not only alive, she's looking fab!

When someone tweeted that Sheryl Crow music be rolling in her grave over Kid Rock’s plans to run for US Senate many people were surprised.

But no-one more than Crow herself, because, as far as she knew she was alive and well. Sure she’d been diagnosed with a benign brain tumour in 2011 but it hasn’t required treatment.

To prove it the 55-year-old singer-songwriter tweeted back.

While that interaction went insane on the internet, with over 93,000 retweets, it also inspired Sheryl to pen a new tune.

In the song she writes about her former singing partner Kid Rock, but takes a few digs as a couple of politicians, and of course Tuna Ketchup who tweeted the ‘fake news’ in the first place.

Crow has had a number of hits including ‘All I Wanna Do’ and ‘If It Makes You Happy’. This twitter interaction has certainly made some of her friends and fans happy – especially if they had wondered if they’s missed some important news along the way.

A nine time Grammy winner, Crow is about to start her latest tour of the US, so there’ll be a few fans wondering if this will make it onto the set list.

Have you ever got things so wrong in such a big way like this?
