‘I tell them all about Granny Diana’: William gets emotional

The future king has spoken openly about his late mother.

Kensington Palace has shared another sneak peek of the documentary Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy, which airs around the world this week.

In the emotional clip, William opens up about raising his two children without his mother around to support him and how he keeps her memory alive all these years later.

The prince reveals he has filled his home with photos of Diana and tells George and Charlotte bedtime stories about her when tucking them in.

“I think constantly talking about Granny Diana, we’ve got more photos of her up around the house now and we talk about her quite a bit,” he says in the clip.

“It’s hard because obviously Catherine did not know her so she can’t really provide that detail.

“I do regularly when putting George or Charlotte to bed talk about her and just try and remind them that there are two grandmothers, there were two grandmothers, in their lives, and so it’s important that they know who she was and that she existed.”

The Palace also shared another sweet snaps of William and Harry from their childhood.

The boys are pictured dressed up as policeman and squinting into the camera lens. It’s the latest in a serious of intimate photos taken from their personal family album.
