Hugh Jackman’s public love for wife upsets fans

The love is still alive for these two!

Hugh Jackman’s wife is once again the envy of her husband’s many admirers after the actor posted an adorable selfie of the pair at Sydney’s Bondi Beach.

In the close-up pic, Jackman, 48 and his wife of 21 years, Deborra-Lee Furness, 61, looked ever the loved up duo with their heads pressed close together and smiles on their faces while they both hid their eyes behind large sunglasses.

One fan admired: “It’s wonderful how openly [you] show the world you love your wife.Your best friend and partner.”

And another gushed:”Oh stop it!! You two are gorgeous.”

While most of the comments on the public display of affection between Jackman and Furness were positive, some heartbroken fans aired their grievances over the fact Jackman was taken.

“Mr. Hugh Jackman is..married?” one wrote.  “My dream has just been shattered.”

While another lamented: “That should be me.”

Jackman is not shy of expressing his love and devotion to his wife on social media and recently shared a post reliving a date they had 22 years ago.

He also revealed on UK talk show Lorraine that the secret to their success was the fact they “shared everything” and never spent more than two weeks apart.

“We always said we’d never spend more than two weeks apart. Sometimes life and work does get crazy,” he said.

“But we met on my first job when she was already a big star, I was a nobody. So we have shared everything, all the ups and downs, and always will.”

The couple share Ava Eliot, 12, and Oscar Maximilian, 17.

And by the looks of things, these two intend on staying together for the long haul as they still look so comfortable and happy in each other’s company, even when they’re all dressed up – they were photographed in May sharing a laugh at the Met Gala.
