How Princes William and Harry are supporting World Mental Health Day

In case you missed it, today is World Mental Health Day.

And this year, the day has some big supporters in its corner.

That’s right, Princes William and Harry and Duchess Catherine will all attend a World Mental Health Day event in London, hosted by the charity Heads Together.

This year the theme of the event is focused on the importance of psychological and mental health first aid for everyone.

So, what will the royals be doing at the event?

Well, Kensington Palace has confirmed all three royals will makes speeches.

They’re also set to meet people who have received and provided mental health support during their lives.

“They are interested in learning about the kind of support that helps and what information is available for people who might find themselves in a situation where they need to help someone or to direct them to professional services,” the palace stated.

Princes William and Harry and Duchess Catherine are all involved in a variety of charities, and the palace says they will be speaking to people are about issues they plan to explore with their future charity projects.

A group of people who have shared their mental health first aid experiences will join the three royals for a ride on the London Eye, which will be lit up in purple to support World Mental Health Day.
