Hollywood star’s child scare on Australian beach

For those that live for the beach, being stung by a jellyfish, while uncomfortable, isn’t that big of a deal. The other factors of that, of course, being, what type of jellyfish and where it stung you.

Hollywood leading man Matt Damon was sent into a panic as his 6-year-old was stung while swimming in Byron Bay. Damon and his family is holidaying with Australian actor Chris Hemsworth and his family. The two families were at the beach enjoying fun in the sun including horseback riding on the beach when the incident occurred.

Damon rushed his daughter to a local cafe to get ice for the sting and the paramedics were called. The little girl is fine and the families retreated to Hemsworth’s home for the day.

No reports if Aussie Hemsworth told Damon “she’ll be right, mate” but we can dream.

Have you been stung by a jelly at the beach?
