Helen Mirren steps out in two different stunners

She just gets better with age!

Helen Mirren, 71, has revealed her playful side stepping out in a bold flower print Dolce & Gabbana dress at the 57th Monte Carlo TV Festival in Monaco.

The Woman in Gold actress looked at home in the elegant slim fitted designer frock which retails for a cool $2900 AUD.

The Oscar winner’s natural beauty shone through as she posed up a storm in the bright gown which featured lace edging around the bottom and on the sleeves.

She pared her look with a practical black pump and minimal accessories, and styled her cropped locks into a tousled effect framing her gorgeous face.

Later that day, Mirren stunned onlookers in a gorgeous all white floor length gown during the closing ceremony of the festival.

Showing off her slender frame, the dress featured transparent sleeves and neckline with a form-fitting bodice and flowing full skirt.

Perhaps taking a leaf from the Duchess of Cambridge’s playbook, Mirren looked every bit the royal (she is renowned after all, for playing The Queen) as she confidently posed for photos.

No doubt her life-long partner director Taylor Hackford was pleased to see his wife looking so regal.

Mirren waited until she was 52 before walking down the aisle to marry Hackford on New Year’s Eve 1997.

Dame Helen recently spoke to students at Tulane University in Louisiana and said despite marrying later in life, things had worked out “great” for the pair.

“I married Taylor a lot later in my life and it’s worked out great,” she said.

“And always give your partner the freedom and support to achieve their ambitions.”

Mirren also offered an array of life tips to the young people including: not to confuse sex with life, ignore anyone who judges the way they look and to call their parents once a week.
