Helen Mirren looked youthful and radiant as she took to the catwalk for the L’Oreal Paris fashion show
The Oscar-winning actress, 72, couldn’t have been more confident as she strutted her stuff on the runway in an edgy vintage-style suit ensemble. The outfit consisted of checked trousers, a longline trench coat with contrast trim, black lace-up loafers, and a white blouse.
She accessorised the look with large silver hoops earrings, bright red lipstick, and the quirky addition of a traditional cane which she playfully posed with on the catwalk. Her enviable platinum hair topped off the high fashion look, styled in a wispy bob.
Proving that fashion isn’t only for the young, Mirren was joined on the runway by Jane Fonda, who at 79 still has a figure that many 20-year-old would envy.
Fonda wore a striking skin-tight, tiger print maxi dress with zip detailing, accessorised with statement jewellery – including a sparkling choker / collar necklace – and towering heeled black velvet boots.
One thing is for sure, and that is these women show that age is no barrier when it comes to fashion!
