Daniel Radcliffe is best known of Harry Potter, after starring in the series of films based on the novels by J.K. Rowling.
Playing a wizard in the movies, he’s still shown to have the magic touch, and that immense fame hasn’t stopped the 27-year-old from being a normal kind-hearted bloke, by coming to the aid of a tourist who was mugged by men on a scooter.
While in west London last Friday night the star and other passers-by stopped to help the man who was bleeding, reports EveningStandard, after being slashed on the face by the muggers.
According to police, two men targeted the victim. “The victim — a man aged in his 50s — was walking along the road when two people riding a moped snatched his bag before riding off,” police said in a statement. “The victim suffered a cut to the face during the incident.”
Because it was a police matter Radcliffe’s representatives confirmed he was there but declined to comment further on the incident although a former police officer, David Videcette, told The Evening Standard he witnessed Radcliffe comforting the tourist.
Speaking to the news station Videcette said it was a surreal moment when he said ‘You’re Daniel Radcliffe’ and he replied ‘I am’. “He was a really nice bloke; a lot of stars wouldn’t have stopped to help.” Videcette said he also saw the thieves, on a moped with no number plates, carrying a knife and called police.
So impressed he took to social media to thank the star.
And I want to say big thank you to Daniel Radcliffe who stopped to help the guy that had been robbed. Top bloke. Some stars wouldn't have.

Do you think this shows his true character, or is it something everyone would do?
