Police say they are closing in on Karen Ristevski’s killer after a series of extraordinary developments over the past week.

Today, A Current Affair released footage of Ms Ristevski’s brother-in-law Vasko Ristevski walking through bushland close to where the Melbourne mum’s body was found wedged between two logs.

A TV news crew was at the site filming a story on the progress of the case when they spotted Mr Ristevski, the brother of Ms Ristevski’s husband Borce, nearby.

It comes just days after police released CCTV of a Mercedes Benz SLK coupe, believed to be Ms Ristevski’s, on the day she went missing last June.

The car is seen driving through Diggers Rest towards where her body was found eight months later at Mt Macedon Regional Park.

Furthermore, police say they have seized an iPad from Ms Ristevki’s home that contained Google search history questions, such as, how police detect traces of blood, how to delete mobile phone data and how police might track phones.

Karen Risteveki is pictured here with her husband Borce and the couple’s daughter, Sarah.

Missing persons squad Detective Inspector Tim Day confirmed yesterday that Borce Ristevski is still a suspect in the case.

Ms Ristevski was reported missing in June last year after leaving the family home to clear her head and failing to return that evening.

Her husband has denied any involvement in her death.
