Nicole Kidman reveals secret to her and Keith’s marriage

These two sure love having a laugh on the red carpet, pictured here at the 2017 Producers Guild Awards in January.

Nicole Kidman doesn’t like to beat around the bush.

The wife and mother-of-four recently opened up in the September issue of InStyle Australia about how she’s managed to have mostly successful relationships.

“I’ve always chosen to have really deep, intense, romantic relationships. I don’t dabble,” she told the magazine.

“I suppose the basis of who I am is maternal. I’m the oldest child in my family, which probably has a lot to do with nurturing and taking care of people.

“So, yeah, a lot of my forces are maternal. I mean, they’re romantic too. I’ve always chosen to have really deep, intense romantic relationships. I don’t dabble.

“That’s who I am, and my mother’s always said it: ‘You’re just a child who attaches.”

Since catapulting to the spotlight in her early 20s, Kidman has had a succession of high profile relationship.

The 50-year-old was married to Tom Cruise for 11 years during which they adopted son Conner and daughter Isabelle.

Following her split from Cruise, Kidman was linked to singer Lenny Kravitz from 2003 until 2005.

She recently revealed the pair were secretly engaged after commenting that that’s how she knew Big Little Lies cast member Zoe Kravitz.

And in 2006, she tied the knot with country star Keith Urban and shares two daughters, Sunday Rose, nine, and Faith Margaret, six, with him.

In November last year, Kidman told New York Magazine that she’s “very much the caretaker” in the family.

“My husband always says, ‘You can’t save the world, Nicole,’ but I think it’s just an inherent part of me,” she said at the time.

“The love is abundant, and it doesn’t just evaporate or disappear – it’s just there.”
