Carrie Fisher’s will reveals daughter’s cut of estate

New court documents have reportedly revealed just exactly what late actress Carrie Fisher left her only daughter, Billie Lourd.

According to recent documents obtained by People, Lourd is set to receive an estimated A$8.89 million in various inheritances from her late mother.

These include several bank accounts, a car, full ownership of several Limited Liability Companies (LLC) and a life insurance policy. Personal and household belongings like jewellery, artwork and collectables will also go to Lourd.

The Scream Queens star will also inherit the rights to her mother’s public image and likeness, as well as her intellectual property rights. This includes ongoing proceeds from Fisher’s books (she wrote more than half a dozen), specials, trademarks and copyrights.

Fisher’s estate that she shared with her late mother Debbie Reynolds is also up for sale for $18 million with the proceeds from that sale likely to be incorporated into the trust for Lourd.

Fisher tragically died one day after her mum, who was 84. Flying from London to Los Angeles on December 23 last year, the 60-year-old former Star Wars actress went into cardiac arrest. She was rushed from her flight to hospital but later died.
