Cameron Douglas is making sure his grandfather Kirk will always be part of his new-born daughter’s life.

Cameron’s partner Viviane Thibes gave birth to the couple’s first child on Monday and the pair has picked a name that pays tribute to Kirk.

The happy couple decided on Lua Izzy.

Kirk was actually born Issur Danielovitch and was known as Izzy for a lot of his life.

Cameron shared a snap of Thibes on social media shortly after the birth of little Lua and gushed of how proud he was of her.

The son of Michael Douglas was a drug user and battled drug addiction.

He was released from jail in 2016 and met Viviane shortly after.

It’s good to see him getting his life back on track.

What do you think of the couple’s tribute? Have you ever named a child after someone you’ve loved, or has someone been named after you?
