Camilla turns heads in bright green dress at Christmas event

The Duchess of Cornwall couldn't wipe the smile off her face.

Let it be known to all: Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall is a massive fan of Christmas!

The Duchess welcomed a group of young children into her home yesterday to help her decorate the Christmas tree at Clarence House and she had an absolute ball with them.

The young children were visiting with Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity – an organisation to help seriously ill children in the UK and Camilla made sure they were kept entertained the whole day long.

For the special occasion, the Duchess wore a vivid green dress with a frill detail that wrapped around the back.

She paired it with simple black stockings and low heels to keep her comfortable.

The entire royal family is known to do a lot of charity work at this time of year and Camilla appears to be relishing in the opportunity to give back.

It’s the eighth time she’s opened the doors to Clarence House as part of her role with a number of children’s charities.

Anyone whose own children are fully grown now, know how special it is to be able to share the Christmas spirit with young kids around as the whole thing feels all the more magical through their eyes.

Camilla will no doubt be spoiling her grandkids George and Charlotte rotten on the big day itself, with the entire royal family expected to gather for a special Christmas dinner.

Are you spending Christmas with your grandkids this year? Are you a fan of Camilla’s bright dress?
