All aboard for a big day out

Fun, friendship and community spirit were the key to a great day out at Living Gems Ruby Gardens on Wednesday July 15. A group of 60 people boarded a bus from the newly released Living Gems Gemstone Waters Resort in Caboolture and headed down to Brisbane’s south side for lunch.

Gemstone Waters sales manager Glenys Lowry arranged the trip to show people the Living Gems lifestyle. She says people who are interested in buying in a new resort are keen to see how it works.

“Building hasn’t yet started at Gemstone Waters but Ruby Gardens is an established resort. We arranged to take people from Brisbane’s north side to the south side to see the homes, the resort facilities and meet the people who live at Ruby Gardens.

“The homes and facilities are important but the lifestyle and community involvement is the key to having fun and enjoying life. I can tell people how great it is but there is nothing better than firsthand experience,” she says.

Glenys says the bus trip was part of the fun. “We had a quiz, a few jokes and more than a few laughs,” she says. “It’s great to get out and about with likeminded people who are young at heart but old enough to know the value of a community”.

Although Gemstone Waters is in the early stages of development people are already buying homes at the resort. Knox and Maria Arps were the first to buy at Gemstone Waters.

They took advantage of the trip to Ruby Gardens to meet Living Gems interior design expert Jessica Puljich and choose the colour scheme for their new home.

Jessica says they have great taste and a sense of style. “We chose beautiful tiles, floor coverings, window furnishings and all the other fixtures and finishes that make a house a home,” Jessica says.

“Knox and Maria knew about the long list of items we include as standard but they were still impressed as we worked through room by room. Standard kitchen fixtures include stone bench tops, a gas cook top, a dishwasher and a microwave oven. The large fridge capacity is a bonus and gas hot water is always on tap.

“High ceilings make a home more stylish, the paint colours, floor coverings and window furnishings the Arps chose adds their signature to the design. The split system air conditioning in the living areas and bedrooms will keep them cosy in winter and cool in summer”.

People who are interested in buying at Gemstone Waters are already registering for the next big day out. To find out more call Glenys Lowry on 1800 288 918 or call at the Gemstone Waters office at 176 Torrens Road Caboolture.
