20,000 Leagues Under The Sea is almost a reality!

Dubai is well-known for its ambitious building projects, but nothing compares to the Floating Seahorse. This incredible apartment complex will consist of 42 floating villas, with underwater views!

Each villa will boast over 1 700 square feet of space, spread across three levels. The lower levels will be completely submerged underwater, offering gorgeous glimpses of marine life.

Villas at the Floating Seahorse will also offer showers, kitchenettes, mini-bars, jacuzzis and a beautiful glass floor. The master bedroom will have its own bathroom, below the ocean levels.

This “live-in aquarium” will debut by the end of 2016, with construction taking place closer to home on the North Island of New Zealand, before being erected in the Emirates.

Take a look at these stunning photographs and tell us: Would you stay at the Floating Seahorse? Or would you be worried about residing underwater?
