When we think of popular travel destinations, Iceland isn’t at the top of the list, but it is working its way up there as a great holiday spot with its gorgeous landscapes and a wonderful culture.

One person, who appears to be an Iceland native, commented on the video saying, “Oh I love seeing tourists try to speak Icelandic.”
Several other commenters were quick to point out the obvious, saying they can do better because they’re from Iceland.

Despite some of the Icelandic words being very difficult to pronounce, Iceland has a lot to offer travellers. It’s a year-round destination with an abundance of mountains, volcanoes, glaciers, rivers and caves. Despite the frosty landscape, the Icelandic people are warm and welcoming, and the food is sustainable, local and slow. Of course, it’s also one of the best places in the world to see the Northern Lights.
