It’s no secret Crown Princess Mary knows a thing or two about fashion and the Australian-born royal didn’t disappoint as she stepped out in a beautiful chiffon dress on Saturday to attend an awards ceremony alongside her husband Prince Frederik.

The mother-of-four, 48, looked incredible in the dress, which featured a see-through chiffon bodice and cinched in at the waist before billowing out in an elegant A-line skirt. The skirt also featured beautiful silver detailing.

Mary chose to wear her hair out, but pushed off from her face, while she accessorised with silver dangling earrings and suede greyish-silver heels. Meanwhile, Frederik looked dapper in a navy suit, matched with a white dress shirt and aqua tie.

The royal family’s official Instagram page uploaded a photo from the outing with the caption: “Their Royal Highnesses The Crown Prince and Crown Princess are ready to award the Crown Prince Couple’s Prizes 2020 for extraordinary efforts and achievements in art and culture as well as social work.”

Many royal fans were quick to comment on the stunning photo, with one writing: “Wow, Crown Princess Mary looks sensational this evening!”

Another added: “Denmark has the most beautiful and engaging Crown Prince and Crown Princess couple.” While a third wrote: “Wow how are they a beautiful couple.”

The glamorous outing comes just a few days after Mary was spotteded out and about on a solo engagement sporting a very chic looking pantsuit. Mary opened up a new national visitor centre, Nation of Health, in Odense, Denmark.

“By cutting the red string, Her Royal Highness today inaugurated the Crown Princess’ new national visitor center [sic] “Nation of Health” in Odense,” a statement shared on the royal family’s official Instagram page read.

“The visitor center will strengthen the international branding of Danish products and solutions within the health and welfare area. This will be done by forming the framework for future international delegation visits with ministers and decision-makers, in order to strengthen the dissemination and dialogue with international stakeholders. Her Royal Highness is the patron of Healthcare DENMARK, which is behind the new visitor center.⁣”[sic]
