Princess Beatrice was set to tie the knot with her fiance Edwardo Mapelli Mozzi on May 29.

A stunning black-and-white portrait of Princess Beatrice has been shared by photographer Phil Poynter on his Instagram page, and Queen Elizabeth’s granddaughter has never looked more gorgeous!

The never-before-seen photo is a closeup of the 31-year-old royal staring directly into the camera. Her makeup for the shoot was kept classic, with soft eyes and a bright lip, while her hair was styled into soft waves. Beatrice appears to be wearing a simple button-up in the shot.

The British photographer captioned the image: “As part of the Chaos SixtyNine Lips cover with @patmcgrathreal, HRH Princess Beatrice of York was kind enough to sit for a personal portrait session. Here’s the result… Stunning!”

The photographer also shared a closeup photo of just her lips adorned with a glittery red lipstick.

Many royal fans were quick to comment on the stunning images, with one writing: “She looks stunning.” Another added: “Love it. She has beautiful expressive eyes.” While a third wrote: “Such a beautiful picture.”

Beatrice was set to tie the knot with her fiance Edwardo Mapelli Mozzi on May 29 at St James’ Palace but the wedding had to be postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“There are no plans to switch venues or hold a bigger wedding. They aren’t even thinking about their wedding at this time,” a spokesperson for the couple told People magazine in April. “There will come a time to rearrange, but that’s not yet.”

Before the cancellation, there was speculation the couple was considering their options on whether to call off their big day entirely or have a private ceremony attended by a small number of family and friends instead.

“Princess Beatrice and Mr Mapelli Mozzi are very much looking forward to getting married but are equally aware of the need to avoid undertaking any unnecessary risks in the current circumstances,” a Buckingham Palace spokesperson told The Sun. “In line with government advice for the UK and beyond, the couple are reviewing their arrangements for 29th May.”

Princess Beatrice became engaged to the property developed in September 2019. At the time, the couple said in a joint statement: “We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together. We share so many similar interests and values, and we know that this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness.”
