The Duchess of Cambridge was all smiles as she met with families in London’s Battersea Park on Tuesday morning. The 38-year-old mother-of-three looked picture-perfect in a casual white Ralph Lauren shirt, blush pink Marks & Spencer pants, which have become a firm favourite of the duchess, and white sneakers for the outing, but it was her gold necklace that really made a statement.
The necklace in question features three charms with the initials G, C and L, which appears to be a nod to the duchess’ children Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, five, and Prince Louis, two, whom she shares with her husband Prince William. The necklace reportedly retails for $150 on the website Spells of Love.
During the visit, Catherine spoke to parents and key organisations about the importance of parent-powered support programs. In a video that was later shared on the Kensington Royal Instagram page, Catherine can be seen cooing over a baby, with the duchess entertaining the little one with her sunglasses.

“The Duchess of Cambridge spent today hearing about the importance of parent-powered support programmes,” Kensington Royal captioned the post.
“Following a video call with experts in the field, The Duchess headed to Battersea Park in London to hear from parents and peer supporters directly about their experiences of parent-to-parent support. Across the UK there are many thousands of parents who use their time, experience and knowledge to support other parents and families.
Meanwhile, prior to her park visit, Catherine participated in a video call with experts in the field.
“This morning Her Royal Highness spoke with representatives and volunteers from different organisations who run peer-to-peer support programmes about their services and the impact that Covid-19 is having on families across the country.”

Many royal fans were quick to praise Catherine on her efforts, with one writing: “What a beautiful soul Catherine is.” Another added: “Catherine looks amazing and amazing job.” While a third commented on her appearance, writing: “Keep up the modern looks Catherine.”
Catherine’s outing comes just one week after she stepped out in London with her husband Prince William. Catherine looked elegant in a vintage-inspired dress for the outing, which featured white accents within the striking floral design, as well a bold white collar and pretty scalloped sleeves. The couple visited London Bridge and Whitechapel to hear about some of the challenges faced over the past six months due to the pandemic.
