Mere weeks after his appearance at the latest James Bond premiere, Prince Charles has channelled his inner super spy with a visit to MI6 Headquarters.

The Prince of Wales, who is Patron of the Intelligence Agencies, toured the facilities alongside Secret Service Chief Richard Moore while thanking staff for the “important” work they are doing.

Moore took to Twitter to announce the Prince’s visit to MI6 with a photo of himself standing alongside the Royal with the caption, “Honour to host our Patron, HRH Prince of Wales in #MI6 this week. Great to see him meet the teams and hear about the important work they’ve been doing. Thank you @ClarenceHouse for visiting.”

Clarence House also shared the same image on Instagram with a caption updating followers on his visit.

“This week, The Prince of Wales met Richard Moore, Chief of the UK Secret Intelligence Service and the team at #MI6 to thank them for the important work they are doing.”

The visit comes only weeks after Charles attended the No Time to Die premiere alongside his wife, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William and The Duchess of Cambridge at The Royal Albert Hall.

Much like his mother, The Queen, a busy few weeks have followed for the Prince with a number of social engagements including hosting the Investiture ceremony where Dame Mary Berry was honoured for services to broadcasting.

The Prince of Wales also presented prizes to Prince’s Trust Award winners at St James’s Palace, in recognition of young people who have succeeded against the odds. While honouring the award winners, Charles highlighted the importance of the Prince’s Trust particularly in regards to recent global events.

“The Prince’s Trust’s mission is more relevant now than ever, particularly as the pandemic has made the need to help young people prepare for the world of work even more urgent,” he said.
