New pics show Grace Warrior looks just like Bindi

Bindi Irwin has released new pictures of her tiny daughter, showing that the spirit of Steve Irwin lives on in her baby Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. Grace has inherited not only her cheeky looks from Bindi, but an adventurous appreciation of wildlife and the great outdoors from her mum Bindi, and her late grandfather Steve Irwin.

The most recent post to Bindi’s Instagram consists of two adorable pictures. The first is a snap of Grace sitting among pumpkins and hay bales in her trademark Australia Zoo khakis, looking up at the camera and smiling. Bindi captioned the post “Sweetheart [yellow heart emoji]”.

The shot is gorgeous, and baby Grace is a spitting image of Bindi at the same age. Both looking up at a camera with arms outstretched, the two photos could be of the same baby.

In a picture shared by Bindi on Saturday, October 30, 2021, the proud mum shares that Grace hasn’t just acquired her looks, but also a love of wildlife, and adventure. And we all know who Bindi inherited that passion from: her intrepid late dad, Steve Irwin.

In the post, Bindi said “Hiking with our beautiful girl is one of the most special things in life.”

“She adores being outside, looking for wildlife with us. Grace Warrior finds magic in everything and I love that.”

This sentimental post mimics words Steve said about Bindi when she was just a bub.

In a youtube video posted to the official Australia Zoo youtube page, Steve says “just like every kid [Bindi is] fascinated by animals, and not only the ones you find at the zoo”. In the video, Steve goes on to say: “And me, I’m the proudest Dad in the world. No doubt about it.”

In a picture posted by Bindi’s husband Chandler Powell commemorating baby Grace’s first seven months out in the world, he goes on to echo the same fierce paternal bond, saying of Grace: “I’m so proud. We love you, sweetheart!”.

The spirit of Steve, his cheeky demeanour, deep love of his children, and all-consuming appreciation of wildlife is definitely alive and well in the next generation of Irwins, with Bindi, Chandler and now tiny Grace carrying the torch.
