Robert Irwin is a doting uncle in this cute pic with baby niece Grace

Becoming an uncle or aunty for the first time can be a fun and rewarding experience, and Robert Irwin seems to be fitting into his new role as an uncle perfectly.

The 17-year-old shared a sweet photo on Monday of him posing with his four-month-old niece Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. In the pic, doting uncle Robert can be seen looking adoringly at his niece as she beams for the camera. It’s not clear where the photo was taken, but the pair appear to be sitting in a camp ground of some sort.

“Hanging out with Grace in the camp after a big day catching crocs is the best,” he captioned the post. “She’s lovin life up here on our crocodile research expedition!”

Mum Bindi was one of the first to comment on the cute pic, writing: “The happiest face.”

Others said at a quick glance Robert looked like his late dad Steve. “Only for a second, I saw your father instead of you,” one commenter wrote. “He would be so proud.”

Another wrote: “She is so adorable. She looks just like her mummy when her mummy was little.” While another said: “She’s so precious, and looks so happy hanging out with her Uncle Robert.”

Bindi’s baby daughter is quite the natural in front of the camera. Just last week, Bindi shared two adorable selfies of Grace to social media. “This girl … loves a selfie,” the 23-year-old captioned the post at the time.

In the first image, Grace can be seen staring directly into the camera, while mum smiles on adoringly in the background. In the second picture, Bindi’s husband Chandler Powell can be seen laughing in the corner of the image frame.
