Rebecca Gibney has left fans speechless after sharing a throwback photo of herself with quite the glorious mullet.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, February 9, the Packed To the Rafter star gave fans a black-and-white glimpse of her youth.

In the photo, the 57-year-old dons an iconic 80s hair-do and crocheted jumper.

“If Wednesday was a haircut it would be a mullet,” the New Zealand actress captioned the quirky photo.

“Or maybe more specifically given this was the remnants of a perm that’s turned to frizz coupled with a mullet haircut, it should be called a frizpullet?” she continued, jokingly.

It’s hard to imagine the blonde beauty, who is often seen with her chin-length locks effortlessly worn down, rocking a sensational mullet but fans were quick to share their delight.

“What a babe!” one commented.

“You wore it well,” added another.

“I had one of those in the eighties. Tight perm on top short sides. You suited yours,” writes a third.

This, however, isn’t the first time the former Celebrity MasterChef Australia contestant took fans down a trip to memory lane.

Just two weeks ago, the actress shared another black-and-white photo of herself with another iconic 80s hair-do, a perm!

“If only she knew then what she knows now…. TBT – photo shoot in the 80’s. Ah that hair – gets me every time….,” her caption read.

And just as fans loved the mullet, many approved of the look.

“Everything about this is amazing,” fellow Back To The Rafters star Georgina Haig wrote.

“I grew up watching The Flying Doctors. You were my fav. I aspired to be like Emma. And I loved her hair!” comments another fan.

According to the DailyMail back in 2015, after turning 50, Gibney had said she “she never felt more comfortable in her skin since reaching the milestone birthday.”

“I finally feel content,” Gibney said at the time.

“I’ve become much more at peace with myself, no amount of money can buy that feeling.”
