He may be in his 50s, but Hugh Jackman is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. On Thursday the X-Men actor proved he’s still got it, after smashing his way through 25 push-ups for a charity challenge.
In the footage posted to Instagram, the Aussie actor, 51, can be heard saying “Gotcha4Life, I nominate myself” before dropping to the floor to begin the challenge. And to no surprise, Hugh didn’t even work up a sweat! Hugh’s adorable pup even made the clip.
“I nominate myself!” he captioned the post. “@gotcha4life is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to mental fitness the world over. #25pushupchallenge *cameo by Allegra Jackman.”

Fans were quick to comment on the actor’s efforts, with one writing: “You’re doing so well.” Another added: “Oh, to be so fit!” While a third wrote: “Love this so much.”
It comes just weeks after Hugh’s wife Deborra-Lee Furness opened up about the frustration of being known as ‘Mrs Hugh Jackman’ in an interview with Stellar magazine.
“Sometimes it’s tricky. People put you in a box and have an idea of who you are,” she told Stellar. “It’s annoying; I don’t like that. The thing about fame that’s challenging is that before, you could meet someone and the joy of getting to know [them] didn’t come with preconceptions that you’re a celebrity or you’re rich.
“I want to be judged for my acting, for my directing. I just want to be seen for who I am. I don’t want to be judged as ‘Mrs Jackman’.”
