Grant Denyer playfully mocks Larry Emdur for ‘stressful’ holiday snaps
Grant Denyer has thrown some playful shade at Larry Emdur for The Morning Show host’s holiday snaps from the Greek island, Mykonos.
When Emdur shared a snap standing in front of the gorgeous waters and yachts of the Greek isle alongside his wife Sylvie, captioned “Defrosting/Mykonos’ing”, his Channel 7 colleague jumped straight into the comments to rib Emdur.

“Was it a long swim from your super yacht to the beach?,” Denyer teased.
Emdur responded: “Not sure how long it would take to swim, it didn’t seem that far in the chopper.”
Continuing his holiday bragging, Emdur shared a snap of his “stressful” decision of which coloured jetski he should ride.
“So far today has been crap. I had to decide between the red jetski and the blue jetski. It was a very stressful start to the day, hopefully it gets better,” he captioned the image.

Following Emdur’s jetski conundrum, more Aussie celebs joined in the fun.
“Thoughts and prayers,” 7News reporter Angela Cox wrote.
“So stressful. will totally pray for you,” former Channel 7 colleague Sally Obermeder teased.
“Who are you? Keanu Reeves?,” Tim Robards commented.
“It’s the matrix, jet ski edition,” Radio presenter Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones said.
The TV personality has been having fun with his social media, sharing a video of Sylvie reading his soon to be released book Happy As, saying his wife just can’t “get away” from him.

“Sylvie tries to get away from me, but she can’t… I’m everywhere. Geeeez I hope she likes the book. She’ll tell me if she doesn’t. That is for sure. Happy As, out on Aug 4th,” Emdur captioned.
Australian actress Rebecca Gibney poked fun at Emdur’s obvious book plug.
“Ok ok I’ll buy the bloody book! – happy travels you two. I want to fly whatever that is wherever you are going,” she wrote.
“Larrrrrrrrrry! Your LIFE!! x,” enviously commented Aussie actress Virginia Gay.
Emdur’s book has been a source of pride for the beloved Aussie and is an open and honest memoir of life before “the game shows and morning TV”.
Keeping his life an open book, Emdur shared the emotional and exciting moment he held a finished copy of his book for the first time.

“The very first copy of my book, first time I’ve seen it, what blast. I’ve been pretty open and honest on these pages, it’s happy, its nostalgic, it’s sweet and it’s sour but it’s all me. I really really hope you like it.
