Sylvia Jeffreys, 34, has treated fans to a precious new snap of six-month-old baby Oscar enjoying his first time on the swings at the park.
The Today Extra co-host, who welcomed her first child with journalist husband Peter Stefanovic in February, took to Instagram on Sunday morning to share the new picture. In the snap, Oscar can be seen wearing a cute white onesie, grey jumper and a beanie. She captioned the post: “First swing.”
Many fans were quick to comment on the cute picture, with one writing: “What a little delight.” Another added: “He’s so adorable.” And a third wrote: “Too cute.”
Sylvia, who recently returned to work as co-host on Channel Nine’s Today Extra, regularly shares new snaps of her beautiful baby boy with her 253 thousand followers. Last month, the presenter shared a sweet pic of herself embracing baby Oscar as he smiled widely for the camera.
She captioned the post: “Six months of slow mornings with my little mate have come to an end. I know everyone says it but I honestly don’t know where that time has gone. I’m so happy though to be starting my day with my other, less spewy but arguably more mischievous mate @davidcampbell73 as I head back to #TodayExtra tomorrow morning.
“And even better, I get to share hosting duties with the delightful @belinda.russell who’ll be at the desk on Thursdays and Fridays while my little family finds its new rhythm. Now, let’s see if this live tv bizzo is just like riding a bike. Dare you to tune in and find out. See you at 9am.”
Fans gushed over the photo, with one writing: “Oh just beautiful.” Another added: “What a cutie.” And a third wrote: “Aww what a gorgeous photo. Wishing you and your family all the best as you navigate your new routine/s. Hope it all goes well for you.”
It comes after Sylvia recently opened up about her experience of being a new mum. Speaking to Sydney Morning Herald’s Sunday Life Magazine, Sylvia revealed that at nine weeks old, Oscar, who’s now six months old, suffered an infant health scare in the midst of the pandemic lockdown. While she chose not to reveal the nature of the condition, she did say that the lockdown added “an extra layer of anxiety” as a new mum.
