Do you have kids or grandkids who are itching to jump on the first plane out of here and backpack around the globe as soon as international borders open?
Well, the perfect job has just opened up: personal assistant to Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.
According to the job description on Daybook (a British job site), this role would be a full time position, best suited to an experienced personal assistant.
Advertised as a role responsible for managing diaries, meetings, and visits, as well as organising travels and events this role would not be one for the unorganised.
The successful candidate will be well versed in personal assistant duties, and will have strong administrative experience. Special preference will be given for those who are digitally proficient, and have great attention to detail.
Interestingly, this role emphasises the importance of confidentiality, and the exercising of discretion at all times. This comes after previous personal assistants allegedly broke confidentiality requirements repeatedly, revealing secret information.
The internet has had a lot to say about this.
Must be good employers as their staff don’t leave in droves ????

Previously Wills and Kate have advertised for a personal secretary for Kate, after Kate’s long time secretary Rebecca Priestley left.
Additionally, before their dramatic exit from royal life, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex also were hiring. This role was advertised as an entry-level role, with tremendous perks, including 33 days holiday, and 15 per cent pension employer contribution.
