Now not many things make me lose all self-control, however, this wicked little Mars Bar slice has always been my Kryptonite.
Picture a cowboy coming face to face with his nemesis. That’s me, coming face to face with this slice. We eye each other off; no sudden movements. Then suddenly, BOOM! and the entire slice is gone. That’s the danger of this wicked Mars Bar slice.
Serves 20 pieces.
Ingredients
- 4 king-sized Mars bars, chopped finely
- 3 cups of rice bubbles
- 60 grams of butter
- 1 tablespoon of golden syrup
- 1 block of Cadbury cooking chocolate, chopped finely
Method
- Gently melt the butter, the golden syrup and the bars and stir until combined
- Remove from heat. Add the rice bubbles and mix, coated the mixture with gooey goodness.
- Put into a lined slice tin and flatten. Transfer to refrigerator leave for about 30 minutes.
- Melt the block of chocolate carefully on the stove.
- When the rice bubble mixture is cool, cover with the melted chocolate.
- Try to contain yourself. Everything is best in moderation.
