Daily Joke: Don’t take a good thing for granted

An old man, a boy and a donkey were going to town, the boy rode the donkey while the old man walked.

As they went along they passed some people that remarked “What a shame, the boy is riding and the old man has to walk”. The old man thought that maybe their critics were right, so they changed.

Further down the track, they passed more people that remarked “What a shame that boy has to walk”. So they decided they would both walk.

Soon they passed more people who remarked “They are really stupid to walk when they have a big strong donkey to ride.”So they decided they would both ride the donkey.

They passed some more people who shamed them by saying “How awful to put such a load on that poor donkey”. The boy and the old man thought they were probably right, so they decided to carry the donkey.

While crossing the bridge they lost their grip on the donkey and the donkey fell into the river and drowned.

The moral of this story is…If you try to please everybody, you may as well kiss your Ass goodbye!
