Deck the halls with boughs of holly…I don’t think I’ve ever head anyone ask Santa for a bough of holly for Christmas (full disclosure – I had to look up exactly what a ‘bough’ is). Wine on the other hand, now that’s a gift that’s sure to be loved! So if you’re favourite loved one, mate or coworker is hosting Chrissy lunch at their place, this is the perfect case to pair with the meal from start to finish. We open with some fizz, move on to a nice rich chardy, then take a journey from light to full-bodied reds. And to top it all off, there’s a tawny to pair with that fruitcake you’ll have to force down to be polite. Merry merry!
