The luxury quilt by Sienna Living features 80% Goose Down and 20% Goose Feather filling.
The higher ratio of down clusters to feather allows this quilt to insulate vastly more superior when comparing to a feather quilt with a higher amount of feather than down. The Goose down clusters are larger when compared to duck down – this provides a higher rate of insulation and increased loft. This quilt features two quilts that may be used individually or together depending on your requirements.
Winter – Clip both quilts together for maximum warmth during the coldest months.
Summer – Simply separate one quilt and it becomes ideal for summer.
Autumn & Spring – Use either quilt for your individual warmth and comfort.
The Sienna Living Goose Down quilt is Australian made with quality high quality goose feathers and goose down fill sourced ethically. The cover is woven from a high quality cotton japara which feels incredibly soft and smooth which allows the natural loft of the feather down to fluff. The quilt is a cassette style/box walled construction which is a non-adjustable design that features a series of individually filled squares that maintain an even distribution of warmth.
Our luxury feather down quilt provides warmth without weight whilst offering breathability due to its natural fibres. They provide ultimate insulation, loftiness, drape ability and softness. Machine washable and dry cleanable.
This quilt is ideal for winter when both quilts are clipped together. We rate this quilt 4.5 blankets out of 5. (Note: 1 blanket weight being summer weight on our scale).

What makes our quilts so great?
Unlike other down quilts on the market, we take the extra step in quality assurance.
The down and feathers are washed with special soaps and disinfectants to remove all impurities – washed a second time to ensure all impurities were removed. The down and feather are separated to ensure the quality of the feather is to the finest grade and quality. Once confirmed we then proceed to remove the dust from feathers which can cause allergies via our de-dusting procedure. Once this stage is complete the down and feather are air blown into our high quality cotton japara box cassette casings to ensure the filling is evenly distributed throughout the whole quilt. Our complete quality control process is managed right here in Australia.
Before using your new quilt, “fluff-up” and air it thoroughly for a few hours. this allows the genuine down and feathers to breathe. periodic airing will keep it fresh. dry clean (a) or hand wash with mild soap and water, rinse well dry without delay in a medium to low heated dryer.
