Single vineyard chardonnay from Mornington is always so, so interesting. This one comes from a small block in Tuerong with vines nearing three decades in age. It’s been all hand harvested, hand sorted, gently pressed and fermented in the barrel with wild yeast. After resting in the barrels, the resulting wine is immensely complex with notes of nectarine, grapefruit, lemon and nougat. This is seriously good juice that has the potential to cellar for over a decade.
